Providing the quoted weight for the Bailey's correct, this will be a good match and will work well.
Depending on the exact model of your Quashqui, the 2.0 4WD 6 speed can pull upto 1400kgs (although this is very close to the cars kerbweight and not ideal for someone new to towing), but the CVT model can only pull 1200kgs max.
Your figure of 1184kgs falls well in the limits. Remember too the loading of the van to maintain proper noseweight (downward force onto the towball) as the Quashqui is rated as having a 75kgs nose-weight limit.

Thanks Paul for your reply, as always to the point!
@OP "towcar": did you compute this outfit in our matching program? It will not only show the weight ratio but also the expected performances.

Yes it will (the car will pull the van that is); match will be fine.
As I touched on though in my first reply, is this the 6 speed manual though or the CVT auto? Both will be fine, but just wanted you to be aware of the maximum towing limit between the two; 1400kgs for the manual but only 1200kgs for the CVT.
Only mention as the Bailey will be close for the CVT model (albeit still in limit).

Top stuff Steve, sounds like a fine match and the vans a reasonable light-weight too, so should be ok.
Happy touring.

i tow with the 1.5 cdi qash,i tow 1050kg,its a dream it would pull 1200 kg no prob, the 2.0 would have no problem pulling 1400kg best to stick to around 85 percent if new to towing.iv been towing over 25 years,do try to get around 7 percent nose weight, and you will have good towing, the qash is very stable do use the boot to load heavey items it helps a lot.i have towed with a emptey boot you get a bit of bounce so do weight the boot and you will be fine, need to no just ask
