Subject: Worried Author: Barbara Date: June 17, 2010 at 00:02
hello, i have recently bought a new Bailey Loire, i own a ford galaxy automatic N reg, when i arrived at my forst caravan park, a few people came up to me and said that the car was not the correct weight for this type of van, even though it pulls quite well on flat ground i do struggle with a slight incline, but this has worried me as i had planned to take my van to wales which is quite a hilly area, do i need to get a different vehicle even though the salesman matched my car?

The salesman had beautiful blue eyes? ;-)
Best try our matching program, it is objective. What's the engine and year of your Galaxy (I'm not familiar with UK plates) and what is the laden mass of the Bailey?

Hi Barbara.
As per Berts request, can you post full info on the car and van? The Loire was a model range, not a model in itself, so need spec of van if MTPLM not known (should be on rating label adjacent bottom of door), plus detail on the Galaxy. Some UK spec auto's do have restricted towing limits, but if you supply further info we can advise better.
